Author: Im trying to buy my co-workers 2000 neon, for $3000. Im a full time working girl who has bills just like every one else. What would be the best way to come up with the money asap as I am currently with out a car. I was going to sell the car I had when it came down to the last grand but my plans fell through because the car over heated on me. I was also thinkin about tax return time as well.

Well, i’d try your “Company Bank”, maybe your “Personal Bank”, or better your local “Credit Union”, they will most likley be able to help you with a “Private Party Auto Loan”, i have used my Local Credit Union and i’ll say they saved me from Wallet murdering Dealers more than 3 times!

Tax return would be great. If you have good credit, you can get a personal loan up to 10,000 with no collateral. Or you could go to your bank and give them the car info, and they will loan you the money but will hold the title to the car until it is paid. The interest will be about the same for personal or car loan since the car is 6 years old.
